Suspects held over Nigeria church massacre
According to the local authorities, a regional security team has captured suspects connected to the murder of at least 40 persons in a church in south-west Nigeria, Earlier this month, while a service was in progress, gunmen broke into the St. Francis Catholic Church in Owo, Ondo state, and started shooting. The suspects are being held by a force set up by the south-west state governors, known as Amotekun. It is a separate organisation from the police.
