Burna Boy and Adekunle Gold, two Nigerian singers, have been confirmed as headliners for the Afropunk Festival 2022.
The Afropunk Festival was an annual arts festival that included black artists’ music, cinema, fashion, and art. Afropunk Festivals were first held in 2005 at the Brooklyn Academy of Music in New York, and then in Atlanta, Paris, and London.
On Wednesday, March 15th, 2022, Afropunk made the announcement on their Instagram page. The event is set to begin on September 10th, 2022, and end on September 11th, 2022.
